By creating an account and subscribing to Sleepy Wind Down, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and are subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
✦ The service
Sleepy Wind Down is a subscription service that delivers a personalised AI-generated bedtime story to your email each evening at 5:00 pm AEDT. Stories are generated using your child's profile details to create a unique, calming narrative designed to help children wind down for sleep.
Stories are generated using artificial intelligence. While we apply careful guidelines to ensure they are calm, age-appropriate, and safe, we do not guarantee any specific sleep outcomes.
✦ Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. The service is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children.
✦ Subscription and billing
Sleepy Wind Down offers monthly subscriptions. Pricing is in Australian dollars (AUD) and is displayed clearly on the pricing page before purchase.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date you first subscribed.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
- You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to receive stories until then.
✦ Refunds
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if the service has a major failure. Outside of consumer law requirements, our general policy is:
- Refunds are available if the service fails to deliver stories for 3 or more consecutive days due to a fault on our end.
- We do not offer refunds for change of mind after the billing period has commenced.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
✦ Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our story generation system
- Submit false or misleading information in your child's profile
✦ AI-generated content
Stories are generated by artificial intelligence based on your child's profile. We review and refine the generation guidelines regularly, but we cannot guarantee every story will perfectly match your expectations. If a story is inappropriate or concerning, please contact us immediately at 8winddown@gmail.com.
Stories generated for your child are for personal use only and are not to be republished or distributed.
✦ Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Sleepy Wind Down is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding any claim.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
✦ Changes to the service
We may update, modify, or discontinue the service at any time. If we make material changes that affect your subscription, we will notify you by email with at least 14 days notice.
